ABOUT DJ SONIC: DJ Sonics’ real name is Sonwabo Kaizer Thusi, a multi-talented DJ/Producer based in Emndeni/Soweto. He was born in the talent-filled and history-rich Republic of Soweto in South Africa; His career started at the very early age of 11 in the year 1999 was… and still is a clear indication of his passion. Having being inspired by the likes of DJ Bradley, the late Khabzela and the whole Y-fm revolution of the 90’s. His 12 years exposure to the music scene/industry has seen him learning to Deejay & ultimately producing quality sounds of his own. He also runs his own entertainment company called Supersonic Entertainment, that provides Sound Hire Services and Events Promotions.
DJ SONIC’S AMBITIONS: Becoming one of the elite DJ’s that the Mzantsi scene (South African Scene) has to offer and to keep promoting local talent through the gift of his Deejaying skills, also the same talents to be able to Collaborate with industry players; to produce music that reflects their experiences and to Expose his work to the international market by participating and associating with international events.
DJ SONIC’s EXPERIENCES: DJ Sonic has had the pleasure and honor of playing alongside the cream of the South African industry namely: Locally DJ Kanunu, DJ China Man, Culoe The Song, DJ Ganyani, DJ QT, DJ Claude, DJ China, DJ Mbuso, DJ Soul T, Naked DJ, DJ Pepsi, Giggs Superstar. And the Deejay is an active member of the Vinyl Ryders which sees him trade his skills every weekend at his regular spot in Kagiso, Chaffpozzi Café & also associated with the United Natives camp for branding, creative aspects and designing

DJ Sonic is also a house music record producer, doing his music under his entertainment company, specializing in house music, from soulful to deep house, resuming his production trade back in the year and that saw him grow and attracting relevant individuals in the house scene who were interested in his music and that saw the Soweto born deejay growing in his art
